Toy Team
Minutes
2-26-03
This past week:
We modified several toys so that they work with the large switchplate,
primarily the
toys constructed in the same way as past toys. On the agenda in the near
future is to
figure out how to modify the tape recorders/players which contain several
buttons
beneath an immobile handle.
We now have a big locker; the first one on the right desk in the back of the
Learning Center.
Future Goals:
--finish adapting toys that we have and secure wires
(return to Logan Center before Spring Break)
--work on adapting the "play" function of the tape recorders
(the two cheap tape players first, before working on expensive one)
--explore ways to adapt switches from a plug for a wall outlet
  (e.g. a fan)
This week's assignments:
All: read second chapter of Project Management book
Project Manager discussion: Clayton
Meeting manager: Brandon
Meeting minutes: Brian
Next week:
--Weekly meetings are Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00. Please plan to be
available the entire time this final meeting before Spring Break.
--We will do a practice evaluation, so you can see how you will be graded
at the end of the semester.
--We want to finish the toys we have so we can give them to the Logan
Center before Spring Break.
--We will do documentation. We will break into sub-groups, and within
each group one (or two) people will work on modifying a toy while one
other person takes detailed notes on the procedure and proper ordering of
tasks.
--We will invite a member of the media group to take pictures of our toy
modification.
